Privacy Policy

What this website collects, how we use it and the choices you have.

Last updated October 2, 2026

[CONFIRM: Merrissa's review and approval of this draft privacy policy]

This policy explains what information oaysisbehavioraltx.com collects and how Oaysis Behavioral Consultants, PLLC uses it. Your health information is protected by HIPAA and Texas law. Our Notice of Privacy Practices explains how we use and share it and the rights you have.

The short version

  • We never ask for health information on this website, and we never sell your information.
  • Booking, intake forms, payments and telehealth visits happen in our secure patient system.
  • We use Google Analytics to count visits and clicks. It never receives your name, health information or appointment details.
  • We do not use advertising or social media tracking on this website.

Booking and messages go to our secure patient system

The booking and message forms on this site are provided by our secure patient system, an outside service. What you enter goes straight into that system, not to this website. The message form asks for your name, date of birth, email address, phone number, gender and state, plus an optional note. Once you reach out about care, your information is protected health information and is handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices. Please save medical details for your visit.

Calling, faxing or emailing us

When you call, fax or email us, we receive what you share and use it to respond and to provide care. Regular email is not a secure way to send health details, so please call or use the client portal instead.

Information collected automatically

  • Website hosting. Our website host keeps short term technical logs, such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
  • Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies to show us how people find and use the site, such as which pages are viewed and which buttons are clicked. It does not store IP addresses. We turn off Google's advertising features, keep this data for the shortest period Google allows, and do not run analytics on our booking, contact, client portal or referral pages.
  • Images. Some photos load from our content provider's image network, which receives your IP address to deliver them.

How we use information

We use it to respond to you, schedule and provide care, run and improve this website, keep it secure and meet our legal duties.

When we share it

We share information with companies that help us run the practice and this website, such as our secure patient system, our website host and Google Analytics, and only for those purposes. We share health information only as our Notice of Privacy Practices allows, and we may share information when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Your choices

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works.
  • You can turn off Google Analytics with Google's opt out browser add-on.
  • To see, copy or correct your health records, use the rights in our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Do Not Track

Our website works the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. We do not track you across other websites.

Texas notice about electronic disclosure

Texas law asks us to tell you that your protected health information may be shared electronically, for example with your health plan or pharmacy, as our Notice of Privacy Practices allows.

Security

This website uses encrypted connections, and our patient systems are HIPAA compliant. No website is perfectly secure, so please do not send health details by email or website message.

Children

This website is meant for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn we have, we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
