[CONFIRM: Merrissa's review and approval of these draft terms]
By using oaysisbehavioraltx.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Who we are
This website belongs to Oaysis Behavioral Consultants, PLLC, a Texas psychiatric practice. Care is provided by Merrissa Wesley-Chapman, APRN, PMHNP-BC, a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner licensed in Texas.
Not medical advice
The information on this website is general and educational. It is not medical advice and does not replace care from a qualified professional. Please do not delay getting care because of something you read here.
Using this site does not make you a patient
Reading this website, sending a message or requesting an appointment does not create a patient relationship. You become a patient once we confirm your first appointment and you complete your intake.
Not for emergencies
This website, our phone line and our client portal are not monitored around the clock. If you are in crisis, call or text 988. In an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Telehealth in Texas
All visits are by secure video, and we see Texas residents only. You need a private place and a phone, tablet or computer with a camera and microphone. Telehealth is not right for every situation, and Merrissa may recommend care in person with another provider.
Appointments, fees and policies
Booking, intake forms, consents and payments happen in our secure patient system, and that service's own terms also apply. Our cancellation and missed visit policy is on our New Patients page and in the consent forms you sign before your first visit. We check your benefits before your first visit, but your health plan decides what it covers.
Information on this site
We work to keep our insurance list, fees, hours and other details current, but they can change. Please confirm with us before you rely on them.
Other websites and services
Links to other websites and services, such as our client portal, Google and Instagram, are provided for convenience. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for their content.
Using the site fairly
Please do not misuse this website, try to get around its security or copy large parts of it. The text, photos and design belong to Oaysis Behavioral Consultants, PLLC or are used with permission.
Disclaimer and limits
This website is provided as is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using the website itself. This does not limit any rights you have as a patient.
Governing law
Texas law governs these terms. Any dispute about this website will be handled in the state or federal courts in Harris County, Texas.
Questions or concerns
If you have a concern about your care, please tell us first so we can make it right. You can also contact the Texas Board of Nursing, which licenses nurse practitioners in Texas. For privacy concerns, see our Notice of Privacy Practices.
